Setting the Stage
After I got my logos looking good I knew that I needed to pre-plan all the mockups because I knew if I started with one mockup and did the package design and moved onto another one they might not all be facing the same or good angle and would look awkward together. So, I decided to “dress” the table as you will with all my mockups first for both the high-end and low-end product lines. It took hours scouring the internet for free mockups. I considered buying a set of mockups but nothing suited my needs. If I were doing beauty products I would be rolling in great multiple mockup set ups!
I also had to consider my product lines and make sure the mockup would work for the brands. MYTHIC is a coffee line while Sunrise Farms is a general store brand. Sunrise Farms was easier to find mockups for because general mockups can be found easily. For MYTHIC it was a bit harder. I researched coffee brands and product lines and tried to think of items a coffee manufacture might produce.
The first picture here is the generic arrange of mockups for my Sunrise Farm brand. I haven’t started making the design for the packaging yet.
Below is my table of MYTHIC Coffee items. My package design is in progress. I was told that I needed to fill in the helm with a gold, bronze or silver foil. I added one as a clipping mask to my existing logo. Oh, I did add COFFEE at the bottom. In my original logo I posted here I was on the fence whether I wanted to do coffee. When I found enough packaging items for coffee I committed to making MYTHIC Coffee the brand.
As you can see here the logo in my packaging started out without the gold foil look. And then I added it. I played with a silver foil look for the “sword” and asked someone else their opinion and they liked the matte gray better. I kinda do too.
I changed the logo to match the packaging. It appears as a gold foil on the packaging.
