This is a WordPress website for a small town ice cream parlor. I felt that pastels (blue, pink, green, yellow) would be a good combination for a fun place to enjoy sweets.

The banner rotates images at random. These are all free to use images found on Pixabay. I created a white ice cream cone icon from my existing logo and included it as a pattern in the background to liven the page up a little. At first it was just a colored background but I thought having the ice cream cones in the background would make the page a little more interesting.

Our Story: This page gives a little background to how Dips! Ice Cream came to be. I have included a picture of the shop owners.

Our Dips!: This page lists all the flavors that Dips! Ice Cream currently has in inventory. My H2 is pink to liven up the page.

Dips! Merch!: This is probably my favorite page out of the lot. I had so much fun creating the t-shirt and hat mockups and they look great! I really like how WordPress included a shopping “widget” so that I could place the merchandise beside the price. I changed the button color to pink to stay within my color scheme.

Cart!: Since I don’t have a full functioning cart just yet I made a temporary “Under Construction” page. This still allows those visiting the website know that the links are working.

Contact!: I wanted an easy form for people to fill out. It gets sent to my email address with a subject line pertaining to the Dips! Ice Cream website. I included a Google Maps image and added my own spin by placing a recognizable ice cream cone from the logo as the destination icon. This is also used as the mini icon for the website. The map image includes a link that goes directly to Google Maps so anyone can enter their directions request.

At the bottom of every is a footer that includes the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
